It is proposed to organize and to operate as a unit in the Eugenics Record Office of the Carnegie Institution of Washington, Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, New York, a "Clinic of Human Heredity."
[underscore]1. Headquarters[end underscore]
Such a clinic would need the facilities of the Eugenics Record Office in order to function as contemplated.
(a) Location. If the needed building were constructed on the grounds of the Eugenics Record Office near the present office building the land would not involve additional outlay of cash, being owned by the Carnegie Institution of Washington.
(b) Building. Such a clinic would need for its headquarters, office, laboratory, archives, library space - for immediate needs and contemplated slow but substantial future growth - a building of 100,000 cubic feet.
