Feb 27, 1900, Full term, born naturally - was apparently bright till 3 yrs old then had measles - After this very deaf and paid no attention to anything. He lay in this condition for about 2 yrs. Walked at 1 1/2 yrs or 2 yrs. Talked about same time but not plain - Stopped talking when had measles and did not talk again for 2 yrs - attended sch about 2 yrs but did not go regularly - learned little - 2nd oldest of 1. [obscured] b [obscured = 19yrs - Mar 27 - sailor in navy now - left sch 14 yr - 7th gr. Parochial Sch. Spokane Wash - St. Josephs - Always [illegible] with m's [illegible] - Spokane - wanted to learn numbers
