They say they were married a year ago but there is no record of it. Probably merely mated. [obscured] is copper colored a typical Isshy. [obscured] is as white as any white girl but a low grade moron of bad type.

They ran off to North Carolina and were married. She was a fine looking copper colored Isshy with straight Indian hair. [obscured] was absolutely white and belongs to a good white family in this county.

Today [obscured] told me that [obscured] and [obscured] has six children, as follows [obscured], [obscured] (gone to Georgia), [obscured] (living in Lynchburg unmarried), [obscured], [obscured] and [obscured] (the latter two living with [obscured] at Elon. (Will see them Tuesday) and get ages of all.

The [obscured] above who married [obscured] died in 1922. His widow [obscured] lives at Big Island, Va. He was married twice. His first wife was [obscured] the daughter of [obscured] and [obscured].
