13 wonderful contrast in behavior. 2) The study of identical twins - Here we may have a different environment but the same germ plasma. The study of such twins has brought to light many startling cases. In the case of Albert & Wm --- both became insane at practically the same time although living miles apart. The case history of the two hospitals where they were sent showed remarkable similarity: Albert was childish, mischevious (sic), a petit thief, had moments of great disturbance. William was childish, very charming, a petit thief & very excitable at times. Another case where twins had practically the same illusions at the same time although miles apart: Another case where such twins became suspicious. That were being poisoned. Then became violently insane about same time. Another case where committed suicide at same time although far apart and had not corresponded for long time. Identical twins always look alike & are of same sex. (Dr. Wilder [illegible] found they had same finger prints) It is very important to study the conduct of individuals in their
