[photo credit] Wide World [caption for photo]CHILDREN WELCOME!! Youthful residents of a model village just outside the city of Strasbourg, France, built by the Ungemach Bonbon factory from its war profits to "combat race suicide." Only couples of limited means and in perfect health are eligible to rent houses, and so far seven families have been evicted for failure to produce children at a satisfactory rate! Each house rents for less than $100 a year and is equipped with every modern convenience to save labor for young mother unable to afford servants. [end]
