-2- I would be very pleased to have your comment upon the plan as I have outlined it. I would be very glad to have your criticism, whether favorable or not, and certainly suggestions as to how it might be improved. I would be glad if you would stress what seem to you the facts that would be most valuable in collecting such material. I would like to know whether there are any persons available who have the training and interest in the collecting of family data in the homes, and also if you think such a plan as we have in view would such as to interest one of the foundations in helping us to secure a worker. Trusting that I am not asking to[sic] much with my many questions I am Very sincerely yours, [signed] Douglas P. Murphy, M. D. P. S. I am sending a carbon of this letter to Doctor Laughlin.
