Acknowledgment of Service Acknowledgment is hereby made to the various individuals and agencies contributing to the development and success of the Fitter Family project for the eugenic and health examination of entire family groups. Among the agencies must be mentioned the State Board of Health, the State University, and the State Teachers' College of Emporia, which have each year contributed the services of members of their respective staffs as examiners, and to the Southwestern University of Winfield and the Kansas State Agricultural College for assistance during the Fair of 1924. Acknowledgment should be made to a large number of private physicians who have contributed their time at a definite personal sacrifice. The original staff deserve especial commendation, because they gave unstintedly of their time and thought to what was then only an idea. Of the first staff, the following have served each of four consecutive years, while seven of the staff have served for five consecutive years. Among those serving for the first three consecutive years, and who contributed much to the project, should be mentioned Dr. B. K. Kilbourne, Dr. Karl Henninger, and Professor W.R.B. Robertson. It is this continuity of service and interest which has contributed more than any other one factor to the sound growth and development of the project.
