Mendel's work seems to me one of the most remarkable investigations [right side] yet made on heredity and it is extraordinary that it should have got forgotten. In the current [underscore]Bot. Cblt.[end underscore] LXXXIII. No. 3, p. 84 is a review of a new paper by Tschermak confirming Mendel's work and adding to it. Tschermak's paper I have not yet received. This group of papers [end]
