2486. [photo of field] 97 16 A picture of the [obscured] Indian Reservation in Oct 1930 - (Steggerda). It was taken from the road near [obscured] home. The large house shown is that of Mrs. [obscured]. To the left is a home of [obscured]. To the right and behind is home of Mrs. [obscured], and in extreme right is home of [obscured]. Note the golden rod, & weeds, no agricultural work is done on reservation. There are 2 cows, belonging to Mrs. [obscured] Much of the square mile is still, "bush", not cleared. [obscured] [end]
