some cases to a disharmony in the phenotype. Thus my conclusion is a pragmatic one; where a race cross is the one to produce physically mentally and temperamentally superior stock, it may be encouraged; where it produces stock that is below the average in these respects it may well be discouraged. In case of doubt we play safe by discouraging it.
