526/527. Telegrams Trumpington Merton House, Grantchester. 2 June, 1904 Professor C.B. Davenport Dear Sir, It is satisfactory to learn that a station for experimental work on Evolution has at last been established, and I shall have great pleasure in becoming a correspondent, as you kindly suggest. You will find poultry in many [illegible] a good subject for experiment. If any practical position[?] in our experience as likely to be of use [to you?] we would be glad to answer any questions, though doubtless your present resources will now enable you to outstrip the little we can do here. I will [illegible] send now reprints. As your European correspondence will now be so [illegible], may I review for them the letter rate is now 5c per 1/2 oz.? There seems to be some misunderstanding about this in America, and we find the overcharges on American letters quite a feature on Monday mornings! Yours faithfully A W.
