This office is planning to make a study of the inheritance of elements of musical ability in a number of families, the study to begin about January 1, 1920.
It is desired to learn whether you and your family would cooperate in this study. The test for elements of musical capacity are made by means of a phonograph by means of a system devised by Professor Seashore of the University of Iowa, the tests to be made by Professor Seashore's assistant, Miss Stanton. The tests will take only an hour or so and can be made by the whole family simultaneously.
