Dear Laughlin:
Dr. Frank B. Walsh, of the Wilmer Institute here in the Hopkins Hospital, has been turning up some interesting pedigrees of human inheritance in connection with his work, and I have suggested that he communicate with you and Dr. Davenport concerning them. He published a short note last year on a case of cataract and this year has found a very interesting case of albinism which acts like a sex-linked dominant except that the father, who should be albino, is not.
Dr. Thomason, working with him, has an interesting pedigree of aniridia. I suggested that she send you folks the full pedigree and told her that you would see to it that names of members of the families were not made public. I should think that she could very well publish this pedigree as it stands omitting, of course, the actual names. In any event I hope there will be something here to interest you and Dr. Davenport.
With best wishes to all,
Sincerely yours,
